This just makes me want to write a letter. Seriously.
"This bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others," Bush said in announcing his veto. "It crosses a moral boundary that our decent society needs to respect."
NO! I refuse to respect that lame excuse of a reason. 78% of voters said they support stem cell research (out of 180,212 responses.) With that evidence, most of the country thinks that stem cell research does not cross that "moral boundary."
Here's what gets me on this issue. The fetuses are already dead. We're going to use them to help save life! Therefore, the fetuses do not die in vain but become donors. You cannot mix your religious views into politics, Mr. President. We don't all think the same on everything.
